About Us

metaSysX GmbH, a company specialising in metabolomics and systems biology, emerged as a spinoff from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology (MPIMP) in Potsdam-Golm, Germany. Situated within the GO:IN Incubator in close proximity to the Max Planck Institute, the genesis of metaSysX was driven by the growing industrial demand for a proficient and all-encompassing fee-for-service provider in the metabolomics, systems integration, and mathematical modelling arena.

metaSysX stands out by offering one of the world's most comprehensive metabolomics technologies, which is a direct reflection of the cutting-edge metabolomics platforms originally pioneered by Prof. Dr. Lothar Willmitzer's group in academic research at the MPIMP. Furthermore, metaSysX provides extensive data analysis and integration services that encompass genetic, omics (transcriptomics), or other phenotypic data. This ranges from comprehensive statistical analysis to tailored computational data analysis and mathematical modelling.
